Back before the time of TV and internet, the only real source of entertainment you had – besides reading – was the radio. Now, fast forward to today and you’ll be hard pressed to find anyone around who still listens to radio (without the “online” in front of it).
Where, once, the radio was your primary source of music you now have online radio stations that play nothing but the music commercial free and music services that completely corner the market. Heck, if your television provider is anything like http://www.cable-tv.com, you actually have television channels of nothing but music.
When people want their sports radio, they subscribe to a sports podcast or fire up the old satellite radio for a sports feed. The same goes for talk radio – there’s just no room for the regular or online radio anymore.
